Is there a YOU in TEAM?

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

So let's say you and your friend Tracy both throw the javelin. Tracy joins the school track & field team, but you do not. Maybe you don't like the uniforms or to do what the coach says or to have to throw a 600gram javelin. You might throw further than any other girl in the state, but you can't win a trophy because you aren't on the team. It might seem that you get angry at your kids less than your Christian neighbor or people at work might think you give better effort than your Christian co-worker. But being "better" than someone else won't get you to heaven. You aren't on God's team. If you have not turned to God through His Son Jesus Christ you are not one of His own and you can't receive the reward of heaven. Obeying God is the way to go, the Bible is truth, and putting on His righteousness starts your new life in Him.
