1 John 2:8-10
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
How many times each day do you say that phrase? We all drop and break other people's stuff, or we bump people with our grocery cart, or we are late. Have you ever required a child to say that phrase before they can leave time-out? But what if you are pulled over by the police? Do you ask them to forgive you for breaking the law and and ask them to let you go without a ticket? But have you ever told God you are sorry? You are guilty of breaking His laws. Are you ready to ask Him to forgive you?
