What is 1 thing soap can't do?

Isaiah 64:6
6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Soap can't change the thing it cleans. It can make a broken down car shiny, but it can't fix the car. It can clean up a pig, but it's still a pig. You can stop drinking. That will make your life better. But you are still a sinner, just a sober sinner. You can go to church. That might make your parents feel better, but you are still a sinner. You can give all of your money and possessions to the needy. That will help the needy, but you will still be a sinner separated from God. Turn to God through His Son Jesus so you can be changed with a new heart and a new beginning.
