So what is good about good news - the Gospel?

Mark 1:15
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

WHAT IS GOOD NEWS? Good News begins with a problem. Really Good News that gets people excited begins wtih an unsolvable problem. Our sin (my sin) is unsolvable, overwhelming, and ultimately leads to our own destruction. Jesus came to solve that problem by His shed blood on the cross. Good News! - He came for you to solve your problem, give you peace, and welcome you into heaven - Good News! Talk to Him. He will turn His ear to you and you will call on Him as long as you live.
NOTE: Gospel is loosely defined as Good News.
